Oh wow, hey there! If we haven’t had a chance to meet yet, I’m Austin Drabik, welcome to my personal blog!

This is a space where I sometimes move my private, unfiltered thoughts from the Apple Notes app to be publicly documented. You see, I love to create, and I love writing. So often creating content involves having an underlying premise, a throughline connecting everything you make into one beautiful package all tied together with a perfect bow on top.

But honestly? That’s exhausting . . .

What’s the fun in that? Life is complex, messy, and frustrating. It can’t all be contained and put in a nice, neat box.

So now you know why this space exists. It’s selfish in nature. But it’s also not just a personal blog or newsletter. For me, it’s a creative outlet — a gym of expression.

It allows me to keep my writing muscles fresh — without the paralysis of premise. There’s no script that I need to stick to. No talking points. No rhyme. No reason.

  • I write about things I’m thinking about, stories I want to tell, and questions I want to explore.

  • I channel an alternate reality where I’m a voice actor and narrate each of the posts.

  • Sometimes I even share photos I’ve captured and poems I’ve written.

If you’re curious about what I’m up to right now, you’re never going to find that here. I’d recommend checking out my Now page.

I truly don’t know. But if you do . . . thanks a million! And even if you don’t, I wish you a wonderful day ahead!
